For those of you who know us, you know we've been in the process of selling our home and moving, hence the lack of updates on our blog! My sincere apologies to those of you who've been faithful about checking in! My goal after this month is over is to be more diligent about updating our website, our blog, and yes, our new Facebook page!

This has been a busy month, people are finally starting to visit the Cape...we've had a nice looooong rest this winter, but are ready and raring to go! We've cleaned, painted, rearranged, organized, and now we're feeling very energized! We are looking forward to a busy season this year.
We had two drawings this month for $25.00 gift certificates. One was for our in-house drawing that we do each month...you have to visit the store to enter to win.
The winner was: Marisa Scott, of Waltham. Our other drawing was in celebration of our new Facebook page. Each person that signed up as a fan was given a chance to win, and with every referral they sent our way, they were given an additional chance.
The winner of that drawing was: Debbie Baker, of West Yarmouth, MA. We congratulate our winners and will keep you all posted of upcoming events and drawings!

Fresh Look for 2010

New Year, New Look!

Well folks, every year we spend the month of January packing up any left over Christmas product, and putting out new Spring items. It sounds a lot easier than it really is. As with any project, once you get started, something else needs to be changed, and so on, and so on. After a week of being closed,and the addition of a small office downstairs, we finally opened our doors again today, with a new fresh look to the store. We'll be posting pictures tomorrow, so be sure to check back. Sorry for the lapse in updates!

Holiday Open House was a Huge Success!

Wow, what an amazing Open House we had! The store has never been so busy. We're already planning next year's event, which will include an additional cash register!
We offer our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, and waited patiently in line!
We'd also like to thank our family and friends who helped make this event such a success...we are so grateful to each and every one of you. We are truly blessed.
As Christmas draws near, we anxiously await our "After the Holidays" sale. We don't intend to pack up any Christmas merchandise, so everything must go!!! You will be able to take advantage of huge savings and get a jump on next year's shopping and decorating! The Sale will begin December 26th and will continue until everything's gone! Be sure to stop by and check it out! Happy holidays to all!

We will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, but will be opening bright and early Friday morning with some Black Friday Specials. All Fall merchandise will be 75% off, and there will be additional savings throughout the store! We hope you all enjoy your day...be sure to give thanks for all of your blessings!

The Open House is Drawing Near!!!

Only twenty more days until the 4th Annual Cinnamon Sticks & Candlewicks Holiday Open House!!! December 5th & 6th, we open our doors to reveal a winter wonderland. We are so excited, and expect a record turnout! Our event is so memorable, that last year's guests have been calling to see if we'll be doing it again! If you haven't been before, you've been missing out on one of Cape Cod's most anticipated events. Why go to the mall to shop, when you can enjoy a little bit of old-fashioned Christmas right here at Cinnamon Sticks & Candlewicks. Santa's little elves have been busy delivering all of our new Christmas merchandise. We have some great gift items, so plan to do your Christmas shopping with us! Oh, and we won't let you go hungry while you're shopping...there will be lots of goodies to enjoy! Our Open House is deliberately scheduled for the same weekend as the Dennis stroll, and the Hyannis stroll, so everyone can enjoy a full day of festivities.
We have sales throughout the store, free raffles, door prizes, and plenty of give-aways for everyone, so mark your calenders now...if you only attend one holiday event all season, this is the one you don't want to miss! Bring your family and friends; you'll be glad you did. This is our way of saying thank you to all of our loyal customers. We look forward to seeing you!

Hi Friends,
It's hard to believe that it's the end of October and Christmas is right around the corner. It seems like just yesterday I was on my feet all day greeting our visitors to the store...where does the time go? In any event, I sure do miss the hustle and bustle of the summer tourist season. All those friendly faces, pats on the head, and the treats. I love my job! As expected, business has slowed down considerably. So this is a friendly reminder to anyone out there who loves our store but can't get away, WE WILL BE HAPPY TO SHIP THOSE " CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT" ITEMS RIGHT TO YOUR HOME!
